The journey started pre-COVID when a trio of close friends decided to embark on a journey into the world of e-commerce. The group saw a trend of common gifting items that at times got recycled for another event and decided to change it. With the whole founders team still pursuing their degrees in several field, they perfectly leveraged the lockdown and utilized the time to take care of their studies while simultaneously growing their new business.
Aaryan Thakwani, one of the cofounders explains the backstory behind starting this venture:
“With birthdays, anniversaries and big occasions popping up frequently, I found myself scratching my head when I started looking for good gifts. I browsed through several stores and loved the idea of personalized gifts but it cost an exorbitant amount. Such instances inspired our team to solve the problems of gifting faced by almost everyone and revolutionize gifting without burning a hole in one’s wallet.”
Hustlezy were off to a flying start thanks to a reversible soft toy that became viral on social media. With time, the portfolio of products grew and several trendy yet meaningful items were added to the store including 3D lamps, Spotify albums, Acrylic products, and many more beautiful items worth gifting. Currently, they provide personalized gift options like neon signs, illuminated lamps, Spotify code lamps and star maps for shoppers.
Aayush, one of the cofounder explains the vision of the brand:
